Request Installation Chat on WhatsAppWiFi Extension Services in Nanyuki can connect a home office, workshop or farm administration building to an existing internet connection. The challenge is often the route between buildings rather than the router inside the main house. Start with a site map and the work that each location needs to support, then design the links and local coverage separately.

Talk to Spacekits before you buy or book installation. We help with kit supply, mounting, activation, router placement, WiFi coverage, and written quotes.
Define the buildings that need service
Mark the main connection, office, store, workshop and any staff area included in the project. Describe the use at each point: email, cloud records, video meetings or access to a local printer. Distinguish an occupied office from a field or yard where coverage is only occasionally needed. Clear boundaries make quotations easier to compare.
Include approximate distances and visible obstacles, but leave final measurements and route decisions to the site assessment. Trees, terrain and buildings can affect a wireless path. An unobstructed view today may also change as vegetation grows or structures are added.
WiFi Extension Services in Nanyuki: separate backhaul from coverage
The connection feeding a remote building is often called its backhaul. Once that link reaches the building, an access point can provide WiFi for devices inside. A dedicated building-to-building wireless bridge and a normal indoor extender perform different jobs; choosing one requires understanding the intended path.
Depending on the site, the installer may consider fibre, appropriately designed cabling or a wireless bridge. Do not choose a route solely by looking at the shortest distance on a map. Physical protection, electrical considerations, permissions and future maintenance all matter. Ask for a drawing that names each link and the equipment at both ends.
Assess the local workspace
Inside the remote office, test at the desk and storage areas where devices are used. A link arriving at an outside mounting point does not guarantee useful coverage behind internal walls. Consider a cable connection for a fixed computer or printer where appropriate and use an access point for mobile devices.
Our access-point installation guide explains the local distribution role. Outdoor working areas require a separate assessment and equipment rated for the installation environment; a spare indoor router should not be assumed suitable.
Plan power across the whole path
A remote office loses connectivity if an essential device elsewhere loses power. List the router, switches, link devices and access points between the internet service and the workstation. If backup power is required, specify the intended operating period and have the equipment load assessed. Backing up only the office laptop does not keep the network alive.
Discuss surge protection, earthing and outdoor cable treatment with a qualified installer as part of the site design. These details should be assessed for the actual property. Keep equipment accessible for service while protected from weather, animals and accidental interference.
Keep operations understandable
Label the devices by building and role. Give the owner a simple layout and assign responsibility for support requests. Staff should know how to report an outage without repeatedly resetting every device. Record whether a fault affects one building, all remote buildings or the internet service everywhere.
If visitors or tenants use the connection, define the separation required from business devices. Confirm the provider permits the planned sharing arrangement. Never treat a network extension as permission to resell an internet service.
Test a real working session
At handover, open the applications used in the remote office, send a representative file and hold a call if meetings are part of the brief. Test agreed outdoor work positions separately. Compare results with the incoming service and document any limitation. A photograph of mounted equipment is useful, but it is not evidence that the working area performs as agreed.
Questions before booking
Does a clear view guarantee a wireless bridge will work?
No. The installer still needs to assess the path, suitable equipment, interference and mounting arrangement.
Will this upgrade make the internet subscription faster?
No. It extends access to the available service. Provider capacity must be assessed separately.
Can the system expand later?
Ask the initial proposal to show how another building would connect, what spare capacity exists and which parts would require reassessment.
Request a SpaceKits assessment
Send your location, property type, existing router model and a short list of weak areas. Describe the work you need the connection to support. Request a site-specific quotation from SpaceKits or contact SpaceKits on WhatsApp. Equipment, installation scope and visit arrangements should be confirmed before booking.
